Customer upset with coffee club canelands service, cancelled membership after terrible experience on mother's birthday.
Coffee Club Canelands inside. The customer service was atrocious I have been going there for years. Never again. I cancelled my membership. It wasn’t busy but it was terrible. I took my mother there for her birthday. OMG, I guess she’ll never forget it

Long wait for cold coffee, unclean table, lack of supervision, inexperienced staff. disappointed long-time customer.
Cairns Central Coffee club took 45 minutes to serve me after stating a 20 minute wait on coffee. When it got to me the coffee was cold and whilst waiting I had to ask a server for a cloth to clean the table. Whilst this was occurring the 16 year old barista spent ten minutes answering a phone call and checked a menu. Great organisation not. Total lack of supervision. Being a 2 year customer I am not impressed. They got rid of the old crew and brought in the D team. Great work. Not. Chris

Customer complains about overpriced avo smash at the coffee club, seeking refund for small portion sizes and lack of egg in the dish.
Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious the the portion sizes are ridiculous. I just bought an Avo Smash for $21....I got the following: 20c worth of bread. 80c worth of avocado. $1.00 worth of bacon. 5c worth of fetta. (I didn't order egg) That's it. Please email me for a photo @ chellezby1979@gmail.com. I get the cost of everything has gone up but having to pay $21.00 for $2 worth of food is a joke and seriously pulling the piss out of consumers and ripping people.off.

Customer upset about undisclosed surcharge at the coffee club, seeking refund of 0.40 and an apology.
Had lunch at the Coffee Club at Morayfield Central today, Sunday 9th June. We purchased an Eggs Benny Waffle $21.90 a Chicken Cheese Avocado Toastie with Chips $14.90 a large Double Chocolate Frappe $8.90 and a large Mango Smoothie $8.90 Total price which the man who took my order said was $54.60 When I checked my bank account $55.00 had been debited. When I queried it I was told that there is a surcharge added for paying by bank card, There was no sign at the register stating this! This really is not fair or good enough!

Customer dissatisfied with poor quality of food and service at the coffee club, seeking $64.50 refund and apology from manager.
Hello I came to the coffee club today for breakfast with my daughter around 11:40. We sat at table 1 I spent $64.50 on two meals, chocolate mud cake, Pepsi max and chocolate milkshake. I order bacon and eggs for my daughter with a side of hollandaise sauce. I asked for the eggs to be fried sunny side up and runny. I asked for the bacon to be crispy. My daughters meal, the eggs come half hard and part runny. The Bacon was nearly raw. I ordered the big breakfast for myself, asked for poached eggs and for the bacon to be crispy. The Eggs were served rock hard and tasted like they were cooked in vinegar. The bacon was not crispy and the sausages were nearly raw. The mushrooms were all dried out. I had half the avocado which was not fully ripe and still firm I ordered a Pepsi max and got a Pepsi. I have been coming to the coffee club at Orana mall for some years and the service and meals are getting extremely poor. The meal today had to be the worst. It’s disgusting. I raised the attention of the manager (Greg) who just looked at me ignored me and then kept walking into the kitchen with another staff member. After he attending other tables The manager picked up our plates and I told him the state of the meal and how poor and disgusting it was. He just sighed and said oh sorry. The eggs tasted like they had been cooked in vinegar and hard yokes. The bacon was nearly raw and that I was disgusted with the service. I was offered a free coffee as a gesture. I wanted a refund and was refused the refund. My daughter and I got up and I said the meal was disgusting and said I will not come back. The manager was extremely rude and arrogant towards me and my daughter and was told to bad your not getting a refund and to go. I will be taking this higher as the customers service was extremely disgusting, especially from the manager and the meals were revolting there at coffee club Orana mall. James Above is what I sent to the coffee club Orana mall email. This has affected both my daughter and myself as we both could not enjoy or eat our meal. After playing for the meal and then not being able to eat the food as it was unbeatable and to be treated so poorly by the manager of the coffee club, this is appalling. I’m demanding a full refund of the money I spent at the coffee club at Orana mall this morning. James.

To whom it may concern Your current menu has priced itself out of much custom. Several restaurants have many cheaper items so why would one buy meals here? Your breaky items are ludicrous. Not one reasonably priced item for a pensioner! At least the tea and coffee are good!

Hi my name is Garry Kennedy and I have been a client for approx 20 years, I went to the coffee club on Thursday and my wife ordered a coffee for me after about 25 minutes it never arrived so went to the counter and said I was waiting to a regular staff member and she said no problem then the waiter that brought the coffee put it down and I said thanks then I went to retrieve the tissue and he pulled it out of my hand and asked what I said and I answered tah he then went on and had no Idea what he was talking about I’ve always been polite to the waiters but that guy was something else ,it was a young guy with glasses and it was your club at Riverlink by JB s thank you Garry Kennedy.👍
