Customer experienced safety hazards at reading cinemas elizabeth, seeking apology and resolution for lack of lighting, railing, and seat design causing injury.
Reading Cinema Elizabeth Cinema 2. 4/7/24 The Bikeriders 10;30 AM. Crickey how are your customers get out after the movie was completed. Lighting not bright enough none to be seen had to use my mobile phone torch. No railing to steady myself. Back of seats too low and too far forward. Yes I fell abruptly enough to bang my head on the step behind. Employee was there just looking. I was dizzy for 30min went counter to get a email to complain.

Customer seeks apology, discipline for staff, response to emails, removal of manipulated video, after being falsely refused entry and humiliated.
My child and I were refused entry to watch Inside out on the 18/06/2024 at 11:30 am and the staff member Holly Greenstein and another staff member who would not provide her name to me would not tell me why. There was a situation at the time where another mother and her children were refused entry because one of the children had food. I was told that I could not enter because I was with the family that was asked to leave. I recognised the mother and her children and said hello to them and had a chat with them before I went to the counter to be served, but I was there alone with my son, not with them. I told the staff more than once that we are not together and that I am there alone with my son but they refused to listen. I had no food with me and was not with the other family that was made to leave the cinema. I asked over and over again why I was being refused entry but the only answer I got from Holly was “because I am on my period,” she was referring to herself being on her period. I felt so embarrassed, humiliated, confused and wanted to cry. I eventually left the cinema and sat in my car and cried. I would like to see the staff disciplined for their behaviour and unprofessional conduct. They just kept walking away from me, refusing to serve me and would not give me an answer as to why they were refusing me entry. I have video and audio of the staff members refusing to serve me and walking away every time I tried to ask why I was being refused entry only trying make sense of the situation. I sent to emails to reading cinema head office complaining about the incident and no one replied. I was upset so I posted a video of Holly on my tik Tok stating that she is refusing me entry because she has her periods. Then the next day for revenge, Holly released CCTV from inside the cinema with visual and audio to the public to a Facebook group called mums and bubs with over 50,000 followers attempting to humiliate me but the actual person she humiliated is the mother and her children that were made to leave. The video she released to the public was cropped and manipulated. She claimed that it was me in the video that she was having a disagreement with and claimed that it was me holding the pizza box but it was not. I was actually the other customer with my back turned waiting for them to finish their conversation so that I can be served. I have a copy of the cctv footage Holly Greenstein released from within reading cinema in Auburn

Attending a 3.35pm screening of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 19Jun24- at Reading Cinemas Reading, with torn approx and a missing seat arm! It was appropriately rated M so I was amazed to find that tickets were sold to irresponsible parents who took two little girls in (approx 6 & 4yrs) who would have found it scary. One of the girls spent most of the movie being distracted by a very brightly lit game on a mobile phone, which was super annoying to others trying to watch the movie, as she waved it around. There were zero staff at the counter, to complain to, when leaving.

Just want to say I used to love going to your cinema. I feel you guys are missing out on a lot of money. Under staffed, people are just going in watching movies without paying as there is nobody checking tickets anywhere. I witnessed people sitting in seats in a near empty cinema, people came in saying that was their seats , the people got up and just moved to empty ones. Your toilets are disgusting. Don’t know when they were last cleaned. It’s such a shame, there is nothing nice about going to your cinema, the seats are dirty, sorry just not a nice experience.

Hi there, we were at the Dandenong plaza cinema watching Shaitaan movie in the 8:15pm session in Hall 1 but the sound quality of the hall was very very low. We booked the seats K-16,17.I tried reaching out to the staff but the queue is too long at the customer service and there was no one present at the ticket checking point. We waited for 15 mins in the queue and it was taking forever to speak to someone. The sound quality ruined the movie experience the movie. I am extremely disappointed. I request you to refund us for the tickets and improve the quality of your movie halls.

I am currently sitting in your auburn cinema in the Titan lounge 1. <br /><br />It’s disgusting. The seats are ripped, it smells and the seats don’t recline. They are broken. <br /><br />The popcorn is stale and there is mess everywhere!! <br /><br />Bathrooms are filthy, no one is working at the door - only a few at the counter. <br /><br />What a joke is this place. I usually come here regularly, I won’t be doing so anymore. It’s filthy.

I was trying to cancel a movie ticket as I had a change in plan. I tried to find the options on site for cancelling my booking or in the email they sent to me. But I was not able to find anything. I tried to call them on their phone line but was unable to reach them. I just kept hearing a unable to connect sound. I tried contacting numerous times and now the time for movie is here and still haven't been able to reach them. I wanted my money back as I was not able to make to the movie.
