Customer mistakenly paid $165.59 to obsolete origin gas account, requesting return of amount to correct gas supplier.
I wrongly paid an amount of $165.59 on the 24/5/24 into a former but now obsolete Origin gas bpay account when it should have been paid to another gas supplier. Kindly request to have the amount returned back to me

Customer leanne russell seeks $390 refund and apology from origin energy for delay in processing credit refund, threatening to contact energy ombudsman.
My name is Leanne Russell and I have asked origin energy for a refund of some of my money since I was in almost $1000 credit. I applied for this I think on the 31st of may and still haven’t received it. All I got was email after email saying they want more information. Finally when I said forget another lady emailed saying sorry for the inconvenience but she’ll give the refund. So that was last week and still haven’t got my money back. My date of birth is 12/05/1968 and I have asked for $390 of my money back. If this isn’t sorted by this week I am contacting the energy ombudsman. This is the worst service I have ever experienced.

Customer is unhappy with origin energy's decreasing solar tariff feed in rate and requests a better rate.
I want to know why you are increasing our electricity fees but not increasing our solar tariff feed in. Initially you gave us 16 c it has since dropped to a partical feed in at 16 then drops to 5c now I u derstand it's dropped to 5c I would like your organisation to provide a better feed in rate than what you are proving me

Customer seeking refund from origin energy, faced delays, confusion, and lack of response for over 3 weeks.
I sold an apartment and had over $3000 in credit. I logged in through the app and requested refund and provided my bank account number. Nothing happened/no confirmation. Rang and they said it had to go back into my Credit Card account. I told them that Credit card account had been closed due to fraud, but still sent them the Statement to show the Bpay (last one being in January as credit), dont know why they needed a closed account but did it anyway. I also sent new Bank details via email. After 2 weeks and approximately 10 emails they said they processed. I checked and money was still showing in origin account. Rang and they said they wouldnt process it due to legal reasons and they had to post! I gave them Mum and Dads address and said if this was best option I would have to accept it. Sent another email last week to confirm and got no response. I have been begging them to give me back my money for about 3 weeks now and now getting no response. Someone new seem would pick it up the next day and process is ridiculous.

Seeking compensation for unusually high electricity bill despite low consumption compared to friend's family of 5.
I have been noticing that my bill is unusually high considering that I live alone. I have been trying to find cheaper rates from different providers but my current one still has the lowest rates so I thought maybe nothing’s wrong. Today, randomly, I asked my friend to send a copy of his electricty bill to me. They are a family of 5 and they live in Sydney. They have more appliances than mine and someone is always at home. Unlike in my case, I am at work from 8-4 and don’t have much appliances, I rarely cook as well. Their quarterly consumption is 946kWh (315kWh per month) and mine is 190kWh per month. They use their TV non-stop and I rarely use mine. From mid-April, my mom started staying with me so my bill increased and pur consumption is 510kWh per month which is much higher than my friend’s. I’m honestly unsure what’s causing this high consumption. I called Origin to address this concern but they were of no help. Is it possible that there is an illegal connection in my meter? How can this be checked?

Customer in snowy mountains has been waiting for lpg tank delivery for 2 weeks, affecting heating and hot water. seeking guaranteed timely delivery.
I have 2 x 45kg LPG tanks When I signd up I was told that replacement cylinders would be delivered on the Tuesday following the day the order was placed. 1 cylinder lasts approximately 2 weeks. Two weeks ago I placed an order and was told it would be two weeks for delivery - 11/6. My second cylinder ran out on Monday 10/6. I went on line to reorder the second cylinder and was told there were no available deliveries in the next three weeks. Further more after many hours dealing with your "help desk" explaining to them that I have had no gas since yesterday afternoon I am told that the delivery promised for today (11/6) will not get here. They will try and get it here tomorrow. When this tank arrives it will not last for three weeks so I will run out of gas again. I live in the Snowy Mountains and I have no gas for heating or hot water for at least 3 days (who knows how long as I cant get a definative answer) This is not good enough. I want the promised delivery today and a guarantee that the gas will be deliverd on time when ordered. If you cannot deliver then I will go to Elgas for my gas and will also move my electricity to another company This is not a complaint against the help desk people but against the way your company operates. There appears to be no real concern for customer satisfaction.

Customer seeks to cancel gas account with origin energy and have gas bottles collected, expressing frustration over lack of response.
I have a gas account with Origin. My customer no. is 3900516354. I have sent a number of emails to your company to cancel my gas account and collect the two gas bottles here at my house (53 Campbell Avenue, Anna Bay. 2316. I received a further in voice no. INVO6218366 which I have reluctantly paid as I don’t want a bad rating. I will not be paying any further invoices and I want the bottles collected forthwith. I haven’t used bottled gas for over 12 months. Please have enough courtesy to respond to this email as I have never received one in the past.

Customer complains about meter reader driving on lawn, seeking apology and call from senior executive of origin energy.
Yesterday your meter reader came to our house to read the meter( as advised by your email previously ) Visitors including meter readers normally park outside our house yard and walk across a cattle ramp into our yard The meter box is about 20 meters inside our yard Yesterday the meter reader drove into our house yard and proceeded to try and turn his vehicle around on the lawn and access road leaving a series of gouges in the lawn The drivers explanation was that he was trying to turn the vehicle around He had 2 possible and satisfactory alternative ways of achieving this 1 Back out 30 meters and turn around outside the yard OR 2 keep driving on the sealed driveway and turn at the end as we and our visitors do I have not yet ascertained if he has done damage to the sprinkler He certainly screwed up the lawn when turning the steering Un educated or stupid !!! I would appreciate a call from a senior executive of the company to discuss this issue
