Customer seeks half the cost of a table from amart furniture due to size issue, disappointed with lack of exchange policy.
I have been an Amart customer for years and have spent a large sum of money over the last two years. On my last purchase, I bought a walnut coffee table as well as $19,000 worth of furniture and unpackaged the tables and it was too big for my lounge room. I then requested to Moonah Amart if I couldn’t exchange my $800 table and I was flatly told no as I had unpackaged it. I don’t feel this is right or fair, online it states you gladly exchange and this isn’t the case with my experience. I don’t mind even if I can choose a table that’s half the cost as long as it’s a suitable size for my lounge room. Yes, my mistake but as you can imagine when looking at furniture in a giant warehouse everything looks like the right size and I hadn’t gone back to measure this space in my new house. This issue has left me disappointed with Amart and I would like some resolution please. Thank You Katy Allen 0417471124

Customer upset with pricing discrepancies and condition of purchased lounge, feels not valued as a loyal customer by amart furniture.
I bought the tala lounge in may in beige which I don’t have yet for 1999$ and should receive in august I went back to the store to buy another lounge same one but it was up to 3999 $ less 20 percent for the same lounge. and asked if I could order another for the same as the first one I ordered the lady that served said no it will cost 3999$ I said but I only just ordered the first one !!!!!!!! She clearly could have matched it. so I bought the floor model for 1999 less two hundred when I got it home it was really dirty and ball balls on fabric everyone said it looked second hand so my daughter rang the store and she took another 200$ off which I excepted .. but I’ve just looked. on your website and that same lounge is now 2199$ so the assistant clearly could have matched the first lounge I bought just letting you know that this is not looking after a continuous buying customer ….what I really wanted was the assistant that served me should have ordered a new one but did not want to match the price so I bought the floor model but even though it’s cheaper it looks worn so as a customer am really disappointed with amart ….

Hi there we bought a lounge there 20/5/2024 cost of lounge was $3,298 sales order #420_601266 there was a promotion going at the time,10%back in Amart gift card,I haven't received the gift card as I was told on Monday it was sent to my old email,this was Bundaberg store,girl there told me she let head office no ,I haven't received anything and I have rang them 2 times again,seems like they just passing the buck,my new email that I've had for 2 years is michelledesborough0@gmail.com can you solve this please

Customer received damaged draw in calipso chest from amart furniture, seeking replacement or repair due to difficulty in assembling as elderly couple.
Purchased a Calipso 5 draw chest from Amart Rockhampton last Sunday, delivered Tuesday. When assembling we found that one of the draws is damaged at the top front making it visible from the front. It looks terrible for a new product, we expected it to be perfect. We didn’t buy a discounted, damaged product. We paid for a good quality product. It needs to be replaced with a perfect product, also it needs to be assembled or just the damaged draw replaced. We are an elderly couple and it is not so easy for us to assemble them.

Customer purchased lounge suite and chase, promised within 2 weeks but delayed until november. poor communication and service from amart furniture.
Purchased a lounge suite and chase - at the time of purchase was told both items would be ready within the next two weeks. I phoned after the date I was given and told “oh yea so that’s now not going to be ready til November, someone was meant to ring you and tell you last week!” specially purchased the set I did as we have recently moved from another country and it meant we could use as an extra sleeping space for family arriving next week. I’m now left with a lounge suite I would not have purchased otherwise. I’ve contacted the store and asked for the manager to ring and three days later I’m still waiting. I’ve also been to store waited and walked around for half an hour with not one staff member asking if they could help. I have found Amart and the communication to be so bad. Happy to take money! Not once have Amart rung me to inform me it’s been me chasing Amart for answers. I would like what I was originally purchasing and if the chase won’t be ready til October/ November then I would be happy with the floor stock!

Customer purchased couches from amart furniture in march, delivery delayed to mid july, causing stress and inconvenience. requesting discount or temporary couch.
Purchased couch back in March, was told it will take approximately 6 weeks initially to get both L-shaped couches. It has now been prolonged to mid July. We sold our original couches in the hopes we would have our new ones by now and don’t have anything in our lounge. This has effected having visitors over. This has caused extra stress and we would like the couches delivered sooner than later. We hope we can get something in return, whether it is a discount or a temporary couch that we can utilise until our new ones have arrived.

Customer complains about double billing by amart furniture, seeking refund and apology. issue reported on 17 may, still unresolved as of today.
Billed twice on Latitude Finance. 17 May purchased 5 items online, 2 were online only and delivered. Three I opted to collect and have been collected. Total cost $1336.33. Payment: Latitude. Amart has billed my twice for the same product. One payment if $1336.33 has correctly processed, the other remains pending meaning I do not have access to $1336.33 of MY credit. I contacted my local store and your phone service on 31 May and both confirmed I had made one purchase of 5 items only. I was told by your only staff member I needed to send an email to prove I had been billed twice, which I did. On 6 June I received a response saying my enquiry has been forwarded to where it needs to be. As of today, nothing has happened. Since 17 May your error has stopped me being able to access $1336.33 of MY available credit. This is completely unacceptable and the timeframe to fix the issue is even more ridiculous. I am wanted by to use MY credit for a purchase this weekend so please fix the issue. If you fail to you will be forcing me to have an out of pocket expense when I can opt for interest free terms. Next stop - Ombudsman.
