Customer seeks $18.36 refund and an apology for unfair refund practices regarding prescription drugs.
Unfair Refund of Prescription Drugs. <br />I purchased a new prescription drug on 28 July, I took 2 tablets which made me very ill and asked to be refunded which was denied by National Pharmacies Norwood. <br />I was prescribed different doses, 1 bottle of 10mg tablets and 2 bottles of 40mg tablets. The Chemist did not have the stock for the 40gm tables at that time so he charged me for both bottles, giving me only 1 bottle with the other bottle to be collected the next week. <br />After only taking 2 x 10mg tables I became sick and I asked to be refunded for the bottle on order but they would not give me a full refund for the bottle. The receipt clearly states 2 x $18.68 but they advised that if you only buy 1 bottle it costs $24.10 and 2 bottles $37.36 so they refunded me the difference = $13.26 <br />I have now lost $50 having only taken 2 tablets of the 10mg tablets, one bottle of 40mg I never opened. I feel I should have been refunded what I was charged -$18.68 can you please assist?<br />Although this may seem a pittance amount of money it is not the point, I paid $18.68 for each bottle and that is what I should have been reimbursed.
