BCF price match eligibility criteria - what qualifies for a match?
BCF promises that they "won’t be beaten on price” for identical products. To qualify for a price match:
- Australian Competitor: The item must be sold by an Australian retailer with an ABN (e.g., Anaconda, Supercheap Auto, Rebel, specialist tackle shops, or Amazon AU).
- Identical Product: The product must be the exact same brand, model, size, and features.
- In Stock & Available: The competitor’s product must be available for immediate purchase (no pre-orders or out-of-stock items).
- Final Price Check: BCF considers the total cost to you, including shipping and GST.
- Valid & Current Offer: The competitor’s price must be a real, advertised deal (not a pricing error or marketplace listing).
If these conditions are met, BCF will happily match the price in-store or online.
How to request a price match at BCF
Getting your price match approved is simple:
- Find the cheaper price – make sure it meets all eligibility rules.
- Gather proof – screenshot, link, catalogue page, or competitor ad with product details.
- Request in-store: Show the proof at checkout; staff will verify and match on the spot.
- Request online/phone: Call 1300 880 764 or use BCF’s live chat/email before ordering. Provide the competitor’s details, and customer care will adjust your price (often via a custom discount code).
- Pay the matched price – once verified, you’ll pay the competitor’s total price and still shop at BCF.

- Big chains: Anaconda, Rebel, Supercheap Auto, Bunnings (for overlapping products).
- Online retailers: Amazon AU (must be “Sold by Amazon AU” or a retailer with ABN).
- Local stores: Any legitimate Aussie tackle, camping, or fishing shop with identical stock.
Proof required:
- A competitor website page on your phone or laptop.
- A current print ad or catalogue.
- An official quote or invoice (for regular retail items, not trade quotes).

Exclusions & limitations - when price matches are not allowed at BCF
BCF’s guarantee has some fair exclusions:
