How to get a refund from BCF
In-store:
- Pack item with box/manuals/accessories.
- Visit any BCF store.
- Provide proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or bank statement).
- Staff process refund to original payment method or arrange exchange/store credit.
- Receive receipt and refund confirmation.
By post (online orders):
- Access BCF’s Returns Portal.
- Enter order details, generate free AusPost label (valid ≤22kg, ≤105cm).
- Print label (or use QR code), pack securely with invoice.
- Drop at AusPost outlet/box.
- Track parcel. Processing usually occurs within 14 days.
- Refund issued. Exchanges via post are refunded, then you reorder separately.
BCF’s refund timeframe - how long it takes
- In-store: Cash refunds given immediately. Card refunds initiated same day - funds typically show in 1–5 business days.
- By post: Allow ~2 weeks from mailing to refund processing. Bank posting adds a few more days (PayPal often 24 hours; Afterpay/Zip adjusted within a few business days).
- Exchanges: Instant in-store. Postal returns default to refund - new purchases made separately.
- Delays: If >3 weeks with no refund, contact BCF support with return tracking.
BCF’s refund methods - how you'll get your money back
- Credit/debit cards: Refunds to original card (bring it for in-store refunds).
- Cash purchases: Refunded in cash in-store.
- PayPal/Afterpay/Zip: Refunded via the same platform. Future payments will be cancelled or adjusted.
- Gift cards: Refunded as a new BCF gift card.
- Mixed payments: Refunds split back to each payment source.
- Bank transfer: Rare; used if card account is closed.

- Used/damaged returns declined: Change-of-mind returns must be unused.
- Delays on refunds: Rare but reported, especially online cancellations. Follow up if beyond promised timeframe.
