Webjet offers two key price guarantees, each with unique eligibility rules:
✅ 1. 30-Minute Booking Price Guarantee (Flights/Hotels)
Automatically applied during checkout (for a small fee), this ensures your price is locked for 30 minutes. If prices increase during your booking process (up to $1,000), Webjet covers the difference, no competitor quote needed.
This applies to Webjet bookings only and is valid only during the booking session, not after.

Webjet will beat lower competitor prices after booking for:
- Motorhomes: Beat by $150
- Car Hire: Beat by $25
🔒 Conditions:
- You must submit your claim within 48 hours of booking.
- The cheaper deal must be identical: same provider, same vehicle/class, same dates, inclusions, currency, and public availability.
Important: There is no general price match for flights/hotels after booking. Webjet assumes their search already displays the best price available at time of purchase.

- Webjet verifies and refunds the difference + $150 after your rental is complete
🚗 3. Car Hire – $25 Price Beat (Post-booking)
- Book via Webjet (usually through Airport Rentals)
- Within 48 hours, find an identical car at a lower price
- Submit the Car Hire Price Beat form with proof
- Webjet will verify and refund the difference + $25 (usually after travel)
📌 Tip: Don’t cancel your Webjet booking before hearing back. Valid claims save you more than switching providers.
Webjet accepted competitors & required proof
To qualify for a price beat, your competitor must be a reputable commercial provider:
✅ Valid Competitor Examples:
- Vehicle rental agencies (e.g., Britz, Apollo, Avis, Hertz, Europcar)
- Aggregator sites (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, Camper Champ)
- Direct supplier sites (e.g., Apollo.com.au, Maui.co.nz)
❌ Not Accepted:
- Peer-to-peer platforms (e.g., Camplify, Turo)
- Member-only rates (e.g., corporate codes, loyalty discounts)
- Opaque deals or packages (e.g., flight + hotel bundles)
What to Include in Your Claim:
- 📸 Screenshot of the final quote (vehicle, dates, price, location)
- 🔗 URL of the competitor’s deal (or reference ID)
- 💬 Description confirming match with your Webjet booking (vehicle class, provider, insurance level)
🔍 Webjet must be able to verify the quote themselves. So don’t delay, make sure your competitor’s price is still live when submitting the form.
Exclusions & limitations - when price matches are not allowed at Webjet
Not all deals are eligible for Webjet’s price beat:
- ⏱️ 48-hour limit: Claims must be submitted within two days of booking.
- 🧾 Must be identical: Same provider, dates, inclusions, vehicle class.
- 💳 No private/member discounts: Loyalty rates, promo codes, or exclusive memberships don’t qualify.
- 💱 Currency mismatch: Competitor prices must be in the same currency (AUD or NZD).
- 🧾 Total cost matters: Webjet compares the full, final price, including insurance and taxes.
- 🔁 One-time claim only: No multiple claims or reclaims on the same booking.
- ✈️ Flights excluded post-booking: No refund if a cheaper flight shows up after booking. Webjet does not price match flights/hotels retroactively.
- 🛑 Amended or cancelled bookings: Price Beat guarantees are void if you modify or cancel your booking.
- 🛍️ Packages not covered: Webjet’s price beat does not apply to bundled bookings (e.g., flight + hotel).
