Rebel Sport lets you cancel an order, but only if you act fast. You can cancel your order before it’s invoiced and prepared for dispatch. Once Rebel issues an invoice (usually right before shipping), the order can no longer be cancelled.

In simple terms: you can cancel immediately after placing your order, but not once it’s ready to ship.

Here’s how eligibility works:

• Before shipment: You can cancel all or part of an order by contacting Customer Care. Rebel will accommodate your request if the order hasn’t yet been invoiced or dispatched.
  
  
• After shipment: Once the order is invoiced or shipped, it’s too late to cancel, but you can still return the item after delivery for a refund under Rebel’s 30-day change-of-mind policy.
  
  
• Click & Collect orders: You can cancel before pickup by contacting Customer Care. If you don’t collect your order within 14 days, Rebel automatically cancels it and issues a refund.
  
  
• Rebel Active membership: Rebel’s loyalty program isn’t a paid subscription, so if you ever wish to close your account, you can contact Customer Care and they’ll delete it for free.
  

Sometimes Rebel cancels orders themselves. For example, if a product is out of stock or there’s a pricing issue. In those cases, you’ll receive an email, won’t be charged, and will be refunded for any payment already made.

Cancelling a Rebel order is straightforward, you just have to move quickly.

1. Contact Rebel Customer Care immediately
   Call 1300 654 502 as soon as possible after placing your order. Phone is the fastest method and gives you the best chance to stop the order before it’s processed.
   
   
2. Confirm your order details
   When speaking to a representative, provide your order number, name, and email so they can locate your purchase. Politely explain you’d like to cancel and confirm the order hasn’t been shipped.
   
   
3. Request cancellation
   If your order hasn’t been invoiced yet, the agent can cancel it immediately. You can cancel the entire order or just certain items. There’s no penalty for cancelling, and Rebel won’t charge you for any cancelled products.
   
   
4. Get confirmation
   Ask for an email confirmation or reference number to document your cancellation. You should receive an email showing your order has been cancelled and refunded.
   
   
5. If the order has already shipped:
   You won’t be able to cancel, but you can return the product once it arrives. The agent can help you start the return process or direct you to the Returns Portal. For home deliveries, you can also refuse delivery so the courier returns the package to Rebel.
   
   
6. Cancelling Rebel Active membership (optional):
   To cancel your free Rebel Active account, contact Customer Care and request closure. It’s quick and penalty-free, you’ll just lose access to member-only offers and points.
   

💡 Tip: If your order was placed late at night or early morning, call first thing during Customer Care hours. Acting within hours is the key to success.

Rebel’s cancellation deadline is before your order is invoiced, which often means within just a few hours of placing it.

In practice:

• Orders placed early in the day may be invoiced by the same afternoon.
  
  
• Orders placed overnight are usually processed the next morning.
  
  
• During busy sales, processing may take longer, giving you a slightly wider cancellation window — but don’t rely on it.
  

If your order has already shipped, it’s too late to cancel. You’ll need to wait for delivery, then use Rebel’s 30-day return policy to get your money back.

Click & Collect orders can be cancelled before pickup. If you never collect your order, Rebel automatically cancels it after 14 days and issues a refund.

For Rebel Active membership, there’s no deadline. You can delete your account anytime.

Rebel Sport does not charge any cancellation fees. Cancelling before shipment is completely free, and you’ll receive a 100% refund of your payment.

If you missed the cancellation window and need to return the item instead, Rebel also offers free return shipping for most online orders. This means you can send back change-of-mind items at no cost, a hassle-free alternative to cancellation.

Here’s what to expect financially:

• No admin or processing fees — canceling an order is free.
  
  
• Free returns via Australia Post for parcels under 22kg and standard size limits. You can generate your prepaid return label online.
  
  
• No restocking fees — as long as the product is in new condition, you get a full refund of the item price.
  
  
• Non-refundable shipping fees: If you paid for delivery on your order, Rebel won’t refund the shipping charge for change-of-mind returns. (If they made a mistake or sent a faulty item, they’ll refund everything, including shipping.)
  
  
• Large/bulky items: Some very heavy items (e.g., gym equipment) may require you to pay freight for returns, but this is rare and communicated upfront.
  

There are no sneaky penalties, no cancellation surcharges, and no membership fees to worry about. Rebel’s policy is designed to make shopping risk-free: cancel if you can, and if not, return for free.
