 cancellations – how to easily cancel your subscription or service

David Jones allows limited cancellations once orders are placed:

• Online delivery orders: Cannot be cancelled after placement. Processing starts immediately. Return instead after delivery (within 30 days).
  
  
• Click & Collect orders: Can be cancelled anytime before pickup. Contact the store directly.
  
  
• Pre-orders: Fully cancelable before dispatch. Contact David Jones' Customer Service.
  
  
• In-store purchases: Not cancellable but returnable within 30 days, unless marked as final sale.
  
  
• Special orders (e.g. personalised or bulky items): May be non-cancellable once processing starts.
  
  

Tip: Act immediately after placing an order if you change your mind. Timing is key.

1. Online Delivery Orders:
   
   
   • Contact Customer Care ASAP via Live Chat or text 0480 017 235.
     
     
   • If order is not dispatched, they may cancel (no guarantee).
     
     
2. Click & Collect Orders:
   
   
   • Call your chosen pickup store to cancel.
     
     
   • Can cancel even on the pickup day if not yet collected.
     
     
3. Pre-Orders:
   
   
   • Cancel anytime before dispatch via Customer Service (13 33 57) or chat.
     
     
   • Full refund issued to original payment method.
     
     
4. Subscriptions or Loyalty Services:
   
   
   • Use “unsubscribe” links or edit preferences in your account.
     
     
   • For David Jones credit/store cards, contact the issuing bank (e.g. Amex).
     

• Online Orders: No formal grace period. Attempt cancellation within minutes.
  
  
• Click & Collect: Cancel anytime before pickup. Same day is OK.
  
  
• Pre-orders: Cancel before the shipping date. Monitor dispatch timeline.
  
  
• Returns fallback: Can return most items within 30 days if cancellation fails.
  
  

📌 Bulk or special event services (e.g. styling appointments) often require 24–48 hours’ notice.

• No cancellation fee for most cancellations (Click & Collect, pre-orders, returns).
  
  
• 25% cancellation fee for bulky or vendor-shipped items (e.g. furniture).
  
  
• Made-to-order items may be fully non-cancellable once in production.
  
  
• No fees for gift card, event, or subscription cancellations (if within notice period).
  
  

Tip: Delivery fees are refunded only if the order is cancelled before shipment.
