The Good Guys Australia’s “Pay Less, Every Day” price match policy ensures you never pay more than necessary. If you find the same product cheaper at another Australian retailer, The Good Guys will typically match that lower price right away.

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

• Identical Product: Same brand, model, features, colour, and Australian warranty.
  
  
• Australian Retailers: Competitor must have a physical or established online presence in Australia.
  
  
• Current & Verifiable Price: Competitor's advertised price must be active, publicly available, and verifiable by staff.
  
  
• Same Terms of Sale: Prices must reflect comparable conditions, such as GST-inclusive and comparable delivery costs.
  
  
• Pre-Purchase Match: Price matches must be requested before your purchase. (For post-purchase adjustments, see Gold Service Extras.)
  
  

❌ Not Eligible:

• International sellers or online-only stores without a physical presence in Australia.
  
  
• Marketplaces (eBay, Amazon third-party sellers, Catch), auction sites, and grey import sellers.
  
  
• Clearance sales, liquidation events, floor stock sales, or limited-time promo codes.
  
  
• Pricing errors, expired deals, or future promotions.
  
  
• Competitor out-of-stock or unavailable items.
  

Requesting a price match from The Good Guys is easy and straightforward:

1. Find the Lower Price:
   
   
   • Identify an identical item cheaper at an eligible Australian retailer.
     
     
2. Prepare Proof:
   
   
   • Screenshot or photograph of the competitor’s advertised price.
     
     
   • URL or physical catalogue clearly showing product details, price, and availability.
     
     
3. Contact The Good Guys:
   
   
   • In-Store: Present proof to a staff member in-store.
     
     
   • Phone/Online: Call 1300 942 765 or use the online chat to verify and arrange your price match before completing your purchase.
     
     
4. Verification:
   
   
   • Staff will confirm the product model, availability, and current competitor price. Verification is usually quick.
     
     
5. Complete Your Purchase:
   
   
   • Once approved, The Good Guys will adjust your price instantly, allowing you to purchase at the lower matched price.
     
     

Tip: Clearly ask, “Can you match this competitor’s price for me?” - staff are accustomed to these requests and generally respond positively.

While generous, The Good Guys' policy includes these exclusions and limitations:

• Online-Only or Overseas Retailers: No matches from international websites or Australian marketplace sellers like Kogan, eBay sellers, Amazon Marketplace.
  
  
• Clearance or Liquidation: Excludes clearance, liquidation sales, or display/floor stock deals.
  
  
• Promotional Prices & Coupon Codes: Promo codes, cashback offers, bundle deals, or special financing arrangements aren’t matched.
  
  
• Pricing Errors: Obvious pricing mistakes or misprints from competitors are not eligible.
  
  
• Expired/Future Prices: Prices must be currently active - expired or upcoming promotions are not valid.
  
  
• Stock Availability: Competitor product must be readily available and in stock.
  
  
• No Double Dipping: Cannot combine price matches with other exclusive store offers.
