You can cancel an Anaconda order any time before it’s dispatched. Once an online order is on its way, Anaconda can’t cancel it mid-delivery, you’ll need to accept delivery and process a return under their policy. Click & Collect orders can be cancelled prior to pickup by contacting Anaconda as soon as possible.
Important conditions & exclusions (change of mind):
- Standard items: 28-day change-of-mind window once received, provided items are unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
- Not eligible for change-of-mind returns: “Online Only” special orders, custom orders, perishable goods, gift cards, clearance items, and certain personal items (e.g., underwear).
- High-value items (e.g., bikes, large tents, fridges) may require assessment on return; an unboxed bike may incur ~10% to cover inspection/servicing.
- If your item falls into a no-return category and has already been processed/shipped, cancelling before dispatch is critical.
Cancel before shipment (or before store pickup) for a clean, fee-free outcome. After dispatch, you’ll be using the returns pathway and must meet eligibility rules.
How to cancel a Anaconda subscription, service or order
Follow these steps for the smoothest cancellation:
- Contact Anaconda immediately: Call 1300 558 990 or email service@anaconda.com.au with your order number and a clear “Cancellation Request”. There’s no online cancel button — phone or email is required.
- Click & Collect? Notify before pickup: Call the store or customer service and state you won’t be collecting. They can cancel prior to collection and arrange your refund.
- Check order status
- Not dispatched yet: they’ll cancel and refund to the original payment method.
- Already dispatched: orders can’t be stopped mid-transit. Either refuse delivery (ask support what they prefer) or accept and return unopened via store or post.
- Keep records: Note the date/time and the rep’s name (or keep the email thread). Watch for the cancellation confirmation email.
- Follow up if needed: If no confirmation/refund appears after a short period, reply with your reference and ask for an update.
Note: Anaconda doesn’t offer paid subscriptions. Their free Adventure Club can be opted out by contacting support or unsubscribing from emails.
How long does a Anaconda cancellation take?
- Practical deadline: cancel before dispatch (often within hours of ordering). Same-day dispatch can happen, so act fast.
- Click & Collect: you can cancel until pickup. If uncollected, the order is typically held (often ~7 days) and then cancelled, but calling gets your refund faster.
- Payments (Afterpay/PayPal/credit card): cancelling stops further charges. If an instalment already processed, it’s refunded after cancellation.
- Missed cancellation? Use the 28-day change-of-mind return window (eligibility applies).
- Zero-day items: special orders/“Online Only” and other excluded categories aren’t returnable for change of mind.
