Can you return an item to Anaconda? Check eligibility first
Anaconda allows change-of-mind returns within 28 days of purchase, as long as the item is:
- In original condition
- Unused, unworn, and in original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
🛑 Non-returnable items include:
- Underwear/swimwear (if hygiene seals are removed)
- Clearance items
- Digital products (e.g., maps or downloads)
- Gift cards, bike components/services, perishables, special/custom orders
📌 For faulty products, you are protected by Australian Consumer Law. Anaconda must offer a refund, repair, or replacement if the item is defective or not fit for purpose.
⚠️ Some items (like unboxed bikes or electronics) require assessment before refund approval. Unboxed bikes may incur a 10% inspection fee.
How to return an item to Anaconda
You have three return options with Anaconda:
1. In-Store Returns (Fastest)
- Bring the product in original condition + your receipt
- Visit any Anaconda store
- Staff will inspect and process refund or exchange on the spot
2. Mail Return for Online Orders
- Ensure your item qualifies (under 105cm/22kg)
- Go to the AusPost Returns Portal via Anaconda's Help Centre
- Generate and print your label or use the barcode at the post office
- Include your invoice in the package
- Drop it at any Australia Post location
3. Contact Customer Service
- For large or bulky items (e.g. tents, fridges), submit a help request or call 1300 558 990
- Customer Care can help arrange courier pickup or offer support for damaged/faulty items
📌 Tip: Delivery fees are not refunded for change-of-mind returns. You’ll only receive the item price unless the issue is Anaconda’s fault.

- In-store refunds: Often instant (bank may take 1–3 days to show funds)
- Mail returns: Processed within a few business days after inspection

- Keep your return tracking
- Check for email confirmation once refund is processed
- If no update within 7 days of delivery, contact Customer Care
⚠️ Partial Refunds:
- If you’re returning one item from a larger order, you’ll get back just that item’s value (minus any non-refundable shipping fees)
- If you exchanged for a cheaper item, you’ll be refunded the difference
