Country Road offers a 30-day change-of-mind return policy for most full-priced and reduced items. You have 30 days from purchase (in-store) or delivery (online) to return an item purchased directly from Country Road.
Conditions:
- Proof of purchase required — receipt, order confirmation email, or packing slip.
- Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition with all tags and labels intact.
- Shoes must be in their box; homewares in original packaging.
- Swimwear and bodysuits require hygiene stickers in place; tried on over underwear only.
Exclusions (unless faulty):
- Beauty & personal care items once opened.
- Furniture.
- Earrings, hair accessories, hosiery.
- “Seconds” or sample sale items sold as-is.
Faulty or incorrect items: Covered under Australian Consumer Law beyond 30 days — refund, repair, or replacement offered depending on the fault.
How to return an item to Country Road
In-store purchases:
- Return to any Country Road store in Australia (not department store concessions).
- Outlet purchases must be returned to Outlet stores.
- Bring proof of purchase; without it, staff may offer exchange/store credit at current value.
Online purchases (countryroad.com.au):
- Return in-store: Take item and order confirmation/packing slip to any Country Road store (Outlet orders to Outlet stores).
- Return by post:
- Complete returns form in your parcel or include a note with order details.
- Pack securely in original or suitable packaging.
- Address to: Country Road Online Returns, CRG Logistics (Aus), PO Box 4144, Sunshine West VIC 8438, Australia
- Lodge with Australia Post using a tracked service.
- Keep your tracking receipt until refund is confirmed.
- Complete returns form in your parcel or include a note with order details.
Exchanges: Online returns by mail are refund-only; reorder separately. In-store exchanges are possible if stock is available.

- 30-day return period from purchase or delivery.

- No prepaid labels provided for change-of-mind returns.
- Original shipping fees refunded only if the entire order is returned due to fault or error.

- In-store: Refund processed immediately to original payment method; card refunds may take 2–5 business days to appear.
- By post: Allow up to 10 business days from warehouse receipt for processing, plus bank clearance time.

- Refund email confirmation sent for online returns; in-store returns receive a printed receipt.
- Partial returns refunded proportionally based on any applied discounts.
