• Change of mind: Returns accepted within 30 days if items are unopened, unused, and in original packaging. Dyson products are an exception - lightly used items can be returned within 30 days with proof of purchase.
  
  
• Proof of purchase required: Receipt, order confirmation, Beauty Pass record, or bank statement must be provided.
  
  
• Non-returnable items: Marked “non-returnable” products, Sexual Wellness items (if opened), and partial bundles/sets cannot be refunded.
  
  
• Damaged, faulty, or allergic reactions: Eligible for refunds or store credits (even if opened) with proof (photos or doctor’s note may be required).
  
  
• Sets/bundles: Must be returned in full, no partial returns.
  

• Online purchases:
  
  
  1. Submit a request via Sephora’s online return form.
     
     
  2. Provide your order number, product details, reason for return, and photos (if faulty).
     
     
  3. Sephora covers postage, use their free AusPost label.
     
     
• In-store purchases: Bring the product plus proof of purchase to any Sephora store. Staff will check condition and process an immediate refund (to card/Afterpay) or store credit.
  
  
• Limitations: PayPal and Klarna purchases can’t be refunded in-store. Instead, you’ll receive store credit or must return by mail to have funds refunded back to those accounts.
  

• Mail returns:
  
  
  • 2–7 days: parcel reaches warehouse.
    
    
  • 3–8 business days: Sephora inspects and processes refund.
    
    
  • 2–5 business days: bank posts funds to your account.
    
    
• In-store returns:
  
  
  • Refund initiated immediately.
    
    
  • Typically posts to your account in 2–5 days.
    
    

👉 Expect refunds in 1–3 weeks total via mail, or under a week with in-store card refunds. Sephora advises allowing up to 30 days during peak periods.

• Original payment method: Refunds return to the same card, PayPal, Afterpay, or Klarna account.
  
  
• Store credit/gift card: Offered as an alternative, or required for PayPal/Klarna in-store returns.
  
  
• Split payments: Refunds are issued proportionally to each method used (gift card + card, etc.).
  
  
• Currency: Refunds always in AUD, matching the original purchase currency.
  

• Opened/used items: Not refundable for change of mind (except Dyson).
  
  
• Missing proof of purchase: Refunds denied without receipt, order number, or Beauty Pass record.
  
  
• Missing packaging or set items: Bundles must be returned complete. Free gifts must also be included.
  
  
• Missed 30-day deadline: Returns outside this window usually refused.
  
  
• Delays: Processing delays during busy sale periods. Follow up with order + tracking details if refunds exceed 2 weeks.
