 Netflix keeps things simple. You can cancel anytime, with no contracts, no lock-in periods, and no cancellation fees. But there are a few conditions to note:

• 🧾 Direct Billing vs Third-Party: If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Telstra, or another partner, you’ll need to cancel through them, not via Netflix.
  
  
• 📅 Access until period end: When you cancel, you can keep watching until your current paid billing cycle ends.
  
  
• 🧍 Extra Members: Cancelling your main account also cancels any “extra member” accounts linked to it.
  
  
• ⏸️ Account on Hold? If your account is already suspended due to payment issues, cancellation takes effect immediately.
  
  
• ♻️ Want to rejoin later? Netflix keeps your profiles and viewing history for up to 24 months so you can pick up right where you left off.

🖥 If you subscribed directly via Netflix:

1. Log in at Netflix.com and click your profile icon.
   
   
2. Choose “Account” from the dropdown.
   
   
3. In the Membership & Billing section, click “Cancel Membership”.
   
   
4. Click “Finish Cancellation” to confirm.
   
   
5. You’ll see an on-screen message and get a confirmation email. Done!
   
   

📱 If you subscribed via Apple (iTunes):

1. Go to Settings on your iPhone/iPad.
   
   
2. Tap your name > Subscriptions > Netflix.
   
   
3. Tap “Cancel Subscription” and confirm.
   
   

📱 If you subscribed via Google Play:

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
   
   
2. Tap your profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > Netflix.
   
   
3. Tap “Cancel Subscription” and confirm.
   
   

📡 If you subscribed via a telco or bundle:

Contact your service provider (e.g., Telstra, Optus) or log into their customer portal to cancel Netflix.

✅ Always confirm the cancellation. Netflix (or your provider) will send a confirmation email.

💡 Optional: Some accounts may see a “Pause Membership” option instead of cancel. This stops billing for up to 3 months. If you want to cancel completely, click “Finish Cancellation.”
