Jetstar’s cancellation rules depend on your fare type:

• Starter & Plus fares: Non-refundable – canceling forfeits your fare.
  
  
• Flex & Max bundles: Cancellable for Jetstar credit vouchers (no cash refund).
  
  
• Business Max: Refundable for cash minus a ~$50 fee, if cancelled before departure.
  
  
• 24-hour risk-free cancellation: If booked direct & 7+ days before travel, full refund within 24 hours of booking.
  
  
• Compassionate grounds: May allow a refund with proper documentation.
  
  
• Jetstar-initiated cancellations: You’re entitled to a full refund or free rebooking – no fees.
  
  

🔎 Always check your booking confirmation or log into “Manage Booking” to see your specific fare conditions.

1. Log In or Retrieve Booking: Go to Jetstar Manage Booking and enter your reference number.
   
   
2. Click Cancel/Voucher (if visible): Select refund or voucher if eligible.
   
   
3. Review Terms: The system will show you what you’re getting (voucher, refund, or nothing).
   
   
4. Confirm Cancellation: Finalise and look for a confirmation email.
   
   
5. If Online Cancel Fails:
   
   
   • Use Live Chat on Jetstar’s Help page – type “human” to speak to a Jetstar agent.
     
     
   • Or call 131 538 (AUS) or local numbers.
     
     
6. Cancel Club Jetstar Membership:
   
   
   • Go to Account Settings > Club Jetstar > Cancel.
     
     
   • No refund of fees, just stops future renewals.

• Standard flights: Cancel at least 1 hour (domestic) or 2–3 hours (international) before departure.
