JB Hi-Fi allows you to cancel an order if it hasn’t yet been packed or shipped. Timing is everything. Once your order enters the shipping phase, cancellation isn’t guaranteed.

For Click & Collect, you can cancel any time before pickup, even at the store.

Marketplace items (third-party sellers), digital products, and large-item deliveries may have different conditions, such as needing 24 hours’ notice. Always check if your product qualifies, especially if it involves a third-party or pre-scheduled service.

To cancel your JB Hi-Fi order, gather your order number and choose one of these options:

• Phone or In-Store for click & collect or local support. Click & Collect orders can also be cancelled in person at pickup.

For services like phone plans or extended warranties, cancellation typically involves the third-party provider, but JB staff can help direct you.

Cancel online orders before dispatch, ideally within hours of purchase. Click & Collect orders can be cancelled anytime before pickup (JB holds items for 21–30 days). For large deliveries, give at least 24 hours’ notice. Pre-orders are usually cancellable up until release day.

Act fast to avoid missing the window. Once shipped, you’ll need to return the item instead.

JB Hi-Fi doesn’t charge fees for eligible cancellations. You’ll get a full refund, with no admin or restocking charges. For Click & Collect or in-store returns, the process is fast and free. Delivery fees may not be refunded once used. Cancelling a scheduled appliance delivery less than 24 hours in advance may incur a re-delivery fee. Otherwise, there are no hidden costs.
