Binge

? Avoid the runaround.

Binge is a no-lock-in streaming service, which means you can cancel your subscription at any time without being tied to a long-term contract. There are no eligibility restrictions, any active subscriber can cancel whenever they choose.

Important conditions to understand before cancelling:

• Cancel anytime: Binge subscriptions are month-to-month with no minimum term.
• Cancel via the correct provider:
  
  • If you subscribed directly with Binge, you can cancel through Binge’s website or live chat.
  • If you subscribed via Apple App Store, Google Play, or a telecom provider (such as Telstra or Optus), you must cancel through that provider’s platform.
• No pause option: Binge does not offer a pause or hold feature. Your subscription is either active or cancelled.
• Access until period end: After cancelling, you retain access to Binge until the end of your current billing period.
• No pro-rata refunds: Cancelling mid-month does not result in a partial refund for unused days.

The cancellation method depends on how you originally subscribed.

If you subscribed directly through Binge

1. Log in to your Binge account at https://binge.com.au.
2. Go to the Help Centre.
3. Click the live chat icon (usually bottom-right).
4. Type “Cancel” and follow the prompts from the virtual assistant.
5. Confirm that you want to cancel when asked.
6. Look for an on-screen confirmation and a confirmation email.

Once cancelled, your account will show an option to resume or resubscribe, rather than an active plan.

If you subscribed via Apple App Store

1. Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Select Binge.
3. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

If you subscribed via Google Play

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
3. Select Binge.
4. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.

If you subscribed via Telstra or another telecom provider

You’ll need to cancel through that provider’s account portal.
For Telstra users: log in to My Telstra → Subscriptions → Binge → Cancel.

⚠️ If you don’t see a cancel option on Binge’s site, it’s usually because your subscription is billed through a third party.

• When cancellation takes effect: Cancellation stops auto-renewal and takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
• Avoiding the next charge: Cancel before your renewal date. Cancelling 24–48 hours early is recommended.
• Free trials: Cancel before the trial ends to avoid automatic conversion to a paid subscription.
• Third-party billing: Apple and Google recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Missed deadline: If you cancel after a charge has processed, you’ll keep access for that month, but that charge won’t be refunded.

• No cancellation fees: Binge does not charge termination or exit fees.
• No admin fees: Cancelling is free.
• Final billing: If a new billing cycle has already started, that charge stands.
• No hidden charges: Binge will not bill you again once cancellation is confirmed.
• Outstanding balances: Any unpaid past charges may still need to be settled.

As long as you cancel before renewal, you won’t pay another subscription fee.
