Yes, you can cancel - but timing is everything.

You can cancel Apple Store orders as long as they haven’t entered “Preparing to Ship” or “Shipped” status. For in-store pickups, you can cancel anytime before collection. If the cancellation window is missed, you can still return the item within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (conditions apply).

For subscriptions (Apple Music, iCloud, Apple TV+, etc.), you can cancel anytime via your device. The subscription continues until the current billing period ends. No penalties, no lock-in. Just remember:

• Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal to avoid the next charge.
  
  
• Built-to-order items (like custom Macs) may move quickly so act fast if you change your mind.
  
  

Apple makes cancellation flexible, just act early and you won’t be charged.

🛒 To cancel an online Apple Store order:

1. Go to Apple’s Order Status page and log in.
   
   
2. Select the order, click “Cancel Items”, confirm.
   
   
3. If cancellation is allowed, the order will update to “Cancelled”, and a refund is initiated.
   🚫 If it says “Preparing to Ship”, you must wait for delivery and return the item instead.
   
   

📱 To cancel a subscription (Apple Music, TV+, iCloud, apps):

• On iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  
  
• On Mac: Open App Store > Account Settings > Manage Subscriptions
  
  
• Select the service > “Cancel Subscription”

You’ll still have access until the end of the billing period. For trial plans, cancel 24+ hours before expiry to avoid being charged.

• Store orders: Cancel before your order ships. Once it’s in “Preparing to Ship,” cancellation is locked, but you still have a 14-day return window after delivery.
