  Youi offers a 20-day cooling-off period from policy inception. Cancel within this time (provided no claims made) for a full premium refund without cancellation fees.
  
  
• No Claims Impact:
  Cancellation is allowed even after making claims, but refunds might be affected since the policy has been used.
  
  
• Cancellation by Policyholder Only:
  Only the main policyholder can authorise cancellations. Other listed parties can’t request cancellation on your behalf.
  
  
• Outstanding Premiums:
  Ensure any outstanding premium for coverage used up to cancellation is paid. Refunds will reflect only unused portions of prepaid premiums.
  
  
• NSW & SA CTP Specifics:

Cancelling with Youi is easy. Follow these clear steps:

   • Select “Cancel Policy” within your account and submit your cancellation details (date, reason).
     
     
3. Alternative Method – Phone Cancellation:
   
   
   • Call Youi customer service on 13 YOUI (13 9684) during business hours. Have your policy details ready.
     
     
4. Confirmation & Documentation:
   
   
   • Youi will send a written cancellation confirmation (email or reference number). Keep this as proof.
     
     
5. Receive Your Refund:
   
   
   • Youi calculates your refund based on unused premium minus the cancellation fee, refunded to your original payment method.
