Ubisoft Plus

? Avoid the runaround.

Ubisoft+ (also called Ubisoft Plus) is a subscription service that you can generally cancel anytime on a month-to-month basis. There’s typically no minimum term on the standard monthly plan. You cancel to stop the next renewal.

A few key conditions to know before you cancel:

• Where you subscribed matters:
  If you subscribed directly through Ubisoft, you can cancel from your Ubisoft account/subscription settings.
  If you subscribed via a third-party platform (for example, Xbox or PlayStation), you usually need to cancel through that platform’s subscription management - not the Ubisoft website.

• Free trials can auto-renew:
  If Ubisoft+ is offered with a free trial, it will usually roll into a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.

• Access continues until your billing period ends:
  In most cases, you can cancel at any point and still keep access until the end of your current paid billing period.
  ‍
• Refund expectations:
  Cancelling typically stops future charges, but it doesn’t automatically trigger a refund for the current period. Refund requests (if eligible) usually require a separate process.

If you subscribed directly with Ubisoft, this is the usual cancellation flow:

1. Sign in to your Ubisoft account
   Go to the Ubisoft Store / account area in a browser and log in with the account linked to Ubisoft+.

2. Open your subscription management page
   Find your profile/account menu and navigate to the subscription section (commonly shown as My Subscription or similar).
   ‍
3. Select “Cancel”
   Choose Cancel membership / Cancel subscription. Ubisoft may show a retention offer or ask for feedback - you can decline and continue.

4. Confirm the cancellation
   Follow the on-screen prompts until you see a final confirmation screen. Make sure you complete the last step (some cancellation flows require multiple confirmations).

5. Look for confirmation
   You should see confirmation on-screen and typically receive an email confirming your plan will expire at the end of the current billing period.

If you can’t find a cancel button: Double-check whether you subscribed through Xbox / PlayStation / another platform. If you did, cancel in that platform’s subscriptions/billing settings. If you’re unsure, Ubisoft Support can help you confirm where the subscription is managed.

Ubisoft+ cancellations typically work like this:

• No notice period: You don’t need to cancel weeks in advance.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle: You’ll usually keep access until your next billing date, and then the subscription won’t renew.

To avoid unwanted charges:

• Cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date (especially if you’re on a free trial).
• Check your next billing date in your subscription settings and cancel before that date.

If you’re on an annual plan (if offered), cancellation usually means it will not renew, but you keep access until the prepaid term ends. Pro-rated refunds are generally not standard for subscription services unless required by policy/law or a billing error occurred.

Ubisoft does not generally charge a cancellation fee to end Ubisoft+.

What you may still be charged:

• The current billing period you already paid for (monthly/annual) is typically not refunded automatically.
• If you cancel close to renewal and the payment has already processed, you may still see that renewal charge - which becomes a refund issue (if eligible), not a cancellation fee.

You might see retention offers (discounts to stay). Accepting them is optional, you can continue cancelling.
