Samsung Australia allows cancellations for online orders as long as the item hasn’t entered the dispatch process. If the “Cancel” button is visible in your Samsung account under My Orders, your order is still eligible. Once your order status changes to “Preparing for shipment,” cancellation is no longer possible online.
Some purchases can’t be cancelled at all. Customised products and certain bundle deals are only cancellable in full, or not at all once in production.
For services like Samsung Care+, you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund (no claims made). After that, refunds are pro-rated or billing stops for monthly plans.
All cancellations outside of the online cancel button must go through Samsung Customer Care.
How to cancel a Samsung subscription, service or order
To cancel a Samsung order:
- Log into your Samsung account
- Go to My Orders and find the relevant purchase
- Click Cancel (if visible) and confirm
If the cancel button is gone, call 1300 362 603 (Samsung Customer Care). They may still be able to stop the order if it hasn’t shipped. If not, they’ll guide you through a return process.
To cancel Samsung Care+, contact support via phone or email. You’ll need your policy number and proof of purchase.
For any Samsung subscriptions (e.g. cloud services), cancel through account settings or app subscriptions, or contact support for help.
How long does a Samsung cancellation take?
Cancel online before your order ships - ideally within 12–24 hours of purchase. Once the cancel button disappears, you’ll need to act quickly via customer care.
For in-store pickups, you can cancel within 5 days of order confirmation. If not collected by day 7, Samsung will auto-cancel and refund.
Samsung Care+:
- Cancel within 14 days for full refund (no claims)
- Cancel after 14 days = pro-rated refund or stop billing
In short: act fast, ideally within a day of ordering. Samsung’s system moves quickly and doesn’t allow long cancellation windows.
