PlayStation Plus

? Avoid the runaround.

PlayStation Plus can be cancelled at any time by turning off auto-renewal. There are no lock-in contracts, and cancelling simply prevents future billing.

Key eligibility conditions:

• Cancel Anytime: You can cancel monthly or annual PS Plus plans at any point.
• Service Continues Until Expiry: After cancellation, PS Plus benefits remain active until the end of the paid period.
• 14-Day Refund Window: Refunds are only available if you cancel within 14 days of initial purchase or free trial start.
• After 14 Days: No refunds are issued, but you still keep access until expiry.
• Free Trials Count: Trial time is included in the 14-day refund window.
• Third-Party Codes: Subscriptions purchased via vouchers or retailers are typically non-refundable.

If you’re outside the 14-day window, cancellation simply stops auto-renewal. No money is returned, but no extra charges occur.

You can cancel PlayStation Plus via web, PS5, or PS4:

On Web Browser

1. Sign in at PlayStation Account Management
2. Go to Subscriptions
3. Select PlayStation Plus
4. Click Cancel Subscription and confirm

On PS5

1. Go to Settings
2. Users and Accounts → Account
3. Payment and Subscriptions → Subscriptions
4. Select PlayStation Plus
5. Choose Cancel Subscription

On PS4

1. Open PlayStation Plus
2. Manage Membership → Subscription
3. Select Cancel Subscription

Auto-renewal is turned off immediately, and you’ll receive confirmation on-screen or by email.

• Cancel Before Renewal: Turn off auto-renew at least 1 day before billing to avoid charges.
• Refund Deadline: Refund requests must be made within 14 days of first purchase.
• No Immediate Cut-Off: Cancelling does not end service instantly. Access continues until expiry.
• Renewals Aren’t New Purchases: Auto-renewals generally aren’t eligible for refunds.

The best practice is to cancel a few days before renewal and double-check confirmation.
