Trying to cancel

Nintendo Switch Online

? Avoid the runaround.

Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) memberships can be cancelled at any time by turning off auto-renewal.

Important conditions:

• No Lock-In Contracts
• No Refunds: Nintendo does not offer refunds for subscriptions once purchased
• 48-Hour Rule: Auto-renew must be turned off at least 48 hours before renewal
• Service Continues Until Expiry
• Family Plans: Only the primary account holder can cancel
• Cloud Saves: Retained for 180 days after expiry

Once cancelled, access continues until the paid term ends.

On Nintendo Switch

1. Open Nintendo eShop
2. Select your user icon
3. Go to Nintendo Switch Online
4. Choose Cancel Subscription by Turning Off Auto-Renewal

On Web Browser

1. Visit accounts.nintendo.com
2. Sign in
3. Go to Subscriptions
4. Select Cancel by Turning Off Auto-Renewal

Cancellation takes effect immediately for billing, but service remains active until expiry.

• Cancel 48+ hours before renewal
• No mid-cycle refunds
• No grace period
• Email reminders sent before renewal

Miss the deadline and the charge will process with no refund.

• No Pro-Rata Refunds
• No Reactivation Fees

You simply lose access when the term expires.
