LinkedIn Premium

? Avoid the runaround.

LinkedIn Premium subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, including during a free trial.

Here’s what to know before you cancel:

• Who can cancel: Any LinkedIn Premium subscriber, including trial users. Only the account owner can cancel if the subscription was purchased directly through LinkedIn.
• No lock-in contracts: LinkedIn Premium is month-to-month or annual. There are no minimum terms or penalties for cancelling.
• Notice period: You must cancel at least 1 day (24 hours) before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.
• Scheduled cancellation: When you cancel, LinkedIn schedules the cancellation for the end of your current billing period. You keep Premium access until then.
• Immediate cancellation: If you need Premium access ended immediately, you’ll need to contact LinkedIn Customer Support to request this.
• Platform restrictions:
  
  • If you subscribed directly via LinkedIn → cancel on the LinkedIn website or Android app.
  • If you subscribed via Apple App Store (iPhone/iPad) → you must cancel through your Apple ID settings.
  • If billed via Google Play, cancellation can be done through Google Play or LinkedIn.

There are no special eligibility requirements. Even trial subscriptions can be cancelled without penalty if done on time.

Cancelling LinkedIn Premium usually takes 1–2 minutes. Follow the steps below based on how you subscribed.

Cancel via Desktop or Android (Subscribed Directly with LinkedIn)

1. Log in at linkedin.com using a desktop browser (or Android app).
2. Click your profile picture (Me) at the top of the page.
3. Select Premium features, then choose Manage subscription.
4. Open Purchases or Subscription & payment.
5. Find your active LinkedIn Premium plan and click Cancel subscription.
6. Confirm the cancellation when prompted.

You should see an on-screen confirmation and receive an email shortly after.

Cancel via Android App

• Profile photo → Premium features → Manage subscription → Cancel subscription.

Cancel via Apple App Store (iPhone / iPad)

If you subscribed on iOS, cancellation cannot be done inside LinkedIn:

1. Go to Settings on your device.
2. Tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
3. Select LinkedIn Premium → Cancel Subscription.

Cancel via Google Play

• Open Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → LinkedIn Premium → Cancel.

💡 Tip: Always take a screenshot of your cancellation confirmation.

• Billing deadline: Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid charges.
• End-of-cycle access: Your Premium benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• No immediate cutoff: Cancelling mid-cycle does not remove access instantly (unless support intervenes).
• Free trials: Cancel before the trial ends (one day early) to avoid automatic charges.
• Annual plans: Cancelling stops renewal for the next year, but no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Billing times may follow international time zones. Cancelling early is safest.

• No cancellation fees: LinkedIn does not charge penalties for cancelling.
• No pro-rata refunds: You won’t receive money back for unused days. Instead, you keep Premium access until the period ends.
• Late cancellation: If you miss the deadline and are charged, that billing cycle is usually non-refundable.
• Third-party billing: If billed via Apple or Google, LinkedIn does not control charges or refunds.

Australian users are typically billed in AUD (including GST), with no extra charges when cancelling.
