Kayo Sports subscriptions in Australia operate on a no lock-in, month-to-month basis. This means you can cancel your subscription at any time without penalty.

Once cancelled, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Kayo does not provide pro-rata refunds for unused days. If you cancel during a free trial, access typically ends immediately.

In limited cases, some subscribers may be on a fixed-term or prepaid promotional offer (for example, a multi-month deal). If so, cancellation may only be available at the end of that fixed term. Most standard Kayo subscriptions, however, are fully flexible.

If you subscribed to Kayo through a third party (such as Apple App Store, Google Play, Telstra, or another provider), cancellation must be completed through that provider rather than directly through Kayo.

To cancel Kayo directly through Kayo Sports:

1. Log in to your Kayo account using a web browser.
2. Go to My Account.
3. Open the Subscription or Manage Subscription section.
4. Select Cancel Subscription.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.

You may be shown alternative options such as pausing your subscription or retention offers. Continue through the prompts until you receive a confirmation message.

After cancellation:

• You should see an on-screen confirmation.
• A confirmation email will be sent showing the date your access ends.

If you subscribed through a third party:

• Apple App Store: Cancel via Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Google Play: Cancel via Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions.
• Telstra or other providers: Cancel via your provider’s account portal.

Kayo cancellations stop future billing but do not immediately end access for paid subscriptions.

• Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
• To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date.
• Cancelling one day before renewal is generally sufficient.

For free trials:

• Cancelling ends access immediately.
• For Apple or Google-billed trials, cancellation should be completed at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

There are no advance notice requirements beyond cancelling before renewal.

Kayo Sports does not charge cancellation fees.

There are no early termination fees, no exit penalties, and no reactivation fees if you re-subscribe later.

If you cancel after a billing cycle has started, that charge applies to the full period. Cancelling simply prevents future charges.

Third-party platforms may have their own billing cut-off times, so ensure cancellation is completed in advance of renewal.
