Headspace makes it relatively easy to cancel, no matter your plan type. Monthly and annual subscribers can cancel anytime, but cancellations only stop future charges. You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing cycle, but don’t expect an automatic refund just for canceling early.

There are no restrictions on who can cancel, but where you subscribed (Headspace.com, Apple App Store, or Google Play) determines how you cancel. Headspace cannot cancel Apple or Google subscriptions for you, users need to do that directly.

Annual plan holders take note: cancelling won’t get you a partial refund, and if you’ve been gifted access (via work, health plans, or bundles like Spotify), the cancellation process may vary. Headspace is transparent, but the burden is on you to cancel properly and on time.

Cancellation paths depend on how you subscribed:

• Headspace.com: Log in, go to headspace.com/subscription/manage, and hit “Cancel Membership.” If no cancel button appears, contact support.
• Apple App Store: Cancel via iPhone/iPad settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Google Play Store: Open Google Play → Subscriptions → Headspace → Cancel.
• Can’t remember where you subscribed? Check your purchase email or billing history to identify the right path.

If you subscribed through a bundle or employer, check the partner's terms. Deleting your Headspace account does not cancel your subscription, always cancel first.

To avoid another charge, cancel before your renewal date - ideally at least 24 hours ahead. Headspace doesn’t specify an exact time cutoff, so don’t leave it to the last minute.

• Monthly or Annual Plans: Cancel anytime, and access remains until the term ends.
• Free Trials: Cancel a day before your trial ends to avoid automatic billing.
• Post-Cancellation: Your subscription end date will show in your account. Set a reminder in your calendar to avoid future surprises.

Headspace charges no cancellation fees. You can cancel without penalties. However:

• No refunds for unused time: Cancel mid-term and you’ll simply keep access until your paid period ends.
• Miss the renewal deadline? That’s another subscription term charged. Headspace won’t refund unless you're in a rare exception window.
• Be wary of deleting your account without cancelling first. Cubscriptions can still auto-renew in the background.

There are no gotcha fees but timing matters.
