Hayu

? Avoid the runaround.

Hayu offers flexible, no-contract subscriptions, allowing you to cancel at any time with no lock-in or long-term commitment. This applies to both monthly and longer prepaid plans.

Key eligibility conditions include:

• Cancel anytime: Whether you’ve been subscribed for one day or one year, you’re eligible to cancel whenever it suits you.
• Monthly and annual plans: You can cancel early on any plan, but if you paid upfront for a longer period (such as a 6- or 12-month plan), no partial refund is provided. Your access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Free trials: If you’re on a Hayu free trial, you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. If you don’t cancel in time, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan.
• Third-party subscriptions: If you signed up via Apple, Google Play, Amazon Prime Video Channels, or a TV provider (such as Fetch or Foxtel), you must cancel through that same platform. Hayu cannot cancel third-party subscriptions for you.
• No special restrictions: Hayu does not impose cancellation windows, approval requirements, or minimum notice periods.

In short: everyone can cancel Hayu at any time, just make sure you cancel via the platform you originally subscribed through.

The cancellation steps depend on how you subscribed to Hayu.

If you subscribed directly through Hayu

1. Log in to your Hayu account using a web browser.
2. Go to My Account, then open Payment Details or Subscription.
3. Click Cancel Subscription.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts and confirm the cancellation.
5. Look for an on-screen confirmation and/or a confirmation email.
6. Your subscription will stop renewing, but access continues until the end of the paid period.

If you subscribed via Apple (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV)

1. Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
2. Select Hayu.
3. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
4. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid charges.

If you subscribed via Google Play (Android)

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
3. Select Hayu.
4. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.

If you subscribed via Amazon Prime Video Channels

1. Log in to your Amazon account.
2. Go to Memberships & Subscriptions.
3. Find Hayu under Prime Video Channels.
4. Select Cancel Channel and confirm.

If you subscribed via a TV provider (Foxtel, Fetch, Sky, etc.)

You’ll need to cancel through that provider’s account or device settings. Hayu cannot cancel subscriptions managed by third-party TV services.

⚠️ Deleting the app or stopping use does not cancel your subscription.

• When cancellation takes effect: Your cancellation stops auto-renewal and takes effect at the end of your current billing period, not immediately.
• Avoiding the next charge: Cancel before your next billing date. App store subscriptions should be cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Free trial deadline: Cancel before the final day of your free trial to avoid being charged. Access usually continues until the trial expires.
• Annual and prepaid plans: Cancelling early stops renewal but does not shorten your access.
• Confirmation matters: Always check for a confirmation email and verify your account status after cancelling.

There’s no long notice requirement, just cancel before renewal to avoid extra charges.

• No cancellation fees: Hayu does not charge penalties for cancelling.
• No early termination charges: You can cancel at any time without extra cost.
• Prepaid plans: No refunds or credits for unused time on annual or multi-month plans.
• Monthly subscriptions: Cancelling simply stops the next billing cycle.
• Final charges: If you cancel after a renewal has already processed, that charge is not refunded, but you keep access for the period paid.
• Billing errors: If you’re charged after cancelling correctly, contact Hayu support to resolve it.

Cancelling Hayu costs nothing extra, just remember prepaid time isn’t refunded.
