AMC+

? Avoid the runaround.

AMC+ in Australia is a flexible streaming subscription with no fixed-term contracts. You can cancel your AMC+ subscription at any time, regardless of whether you’re on a monthly plan or an annual pre-paid plan.

Key eligibility points to understand:

• Cancel anytime: AMC+ allows cancellation at any point, even on day one of a paid subscription.
• Monthly and annual plans: If you cancel an annual plan early, there is no partial refund, but your access continues until the end of the year you paid for.
• Free trials: AMC+ commonly offers a 7-day free trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid subscription.
• Third-party subscriptions: If you signed up through Apple TV Channels, Amazon Prime Video Channels, Google Play, Roku, or another partner, you must cancel through that same platform. AMC+ cannot cancel third-party subscriptions on your behalf.

For Australian users, refunds for unused time generally don’t apply once the service has started, unless required by law or due to a billing error.

The cancellation process depends on how you originally subscribed to AMC+.

If you subscribed directly through AMC+ (website)

1. Visit https://www.amcplus.com and log in to your account.
2. Go to Account or Manage Account (or visit https://www.amcplus.com/account while logged in).
3. Locate your Subscription or Membership section.
4. Click Cancel Subscription.
5. Confirm the cancellation when prompted.
6. Look for an on-screen confirmation and/or confirmation email.

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period but will not renew.

If you subscribed via Apple TV Channels

1. Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your Apple device.
2. Select AMC+.
3. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
4. Apple will show the end date of your access and email a confirmation.

If you subscribed via Amazon Prime Video Channels

1. Log in to your Amazon account.
2. Go to Account & Lists → Memberships & Subscriptions.
3. Find AMC+ under Prime Video Channels.
4. Select Cancel Channel and confirm.
5. Amazon will confirm the cancellation and stop future billing.

If you subscribed via Google Play (Android)

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
3. Select AMC+.
4. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.

If you subscribed via Roku or another platform

You’ll need to cancel through that provider’s subscription management page (for example, Roku’s account subscriptions dashboard).

⚠️ Deleting the app or stopping use does not cancel your AMC+ subscription.

• Effective date: Cancellation stops auto-renewal and takes effect at the end of your current subscription term, not immediately.
• Monthly plans: Access continues until the end of the current month.
• Annual plans: Access continues until the end of the paid year.
• Renewal deadline: Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. A 24-hour buffer is recommended, especially for Apple or Google subscriptions.
• Free trial deadline: Cancel before the last day of the free trial to avoid being charged.
• Confirmation: Your account should show an end date immediately after cancelling, and a confirmation email usually arrives within minutes.

• No cancellation fees: AMC+ does not charge penalties or exit fees.
• No early termination charges: You can cancel anytime without extra cost.
• Pre-paid plans: Annual subscriptions are not refunded when cancelled early.
• Final charges: If a billing cycle has already processed, that charge remains valid.
• No hidden fees: AMC+ does not apply admin or notice fees.
• Billing errors: Any charge after proper cancellation should be raised with support or the billing platform.
