Customer complaint about employees at golden grove store making disrespectful comments about her daughter's resume, seeking apology from sportsgirl.
Hi, I just wanted to bring to your attention poor conduct by couple of your employees at Golden Grove store. On Sunday, my 16 year old daughter handed in her resume. As she walked away, she overheard staff discussing her resume , how it was probably all Chat GPT and how 'we don't employ 9 year olds'. This was very unnecessary, unprofessional and uncalled for. Needles to say she was very upset. Particularly when we live in times where so many young people feel unsure of themselves and vulnerable, and where many have taken their own lives due to not being able to cope with challenging situations. We don't know what people are having to deal with on daily basis, how many knock backs they moght have had trying to apply for jobs just because of their age, how young or small they may look etc. All we ask is that people are treated with respect and not being made a ridicule of for no particular reason. I was shopping today in highpoint . Yeh store didn’t have stock Of the pants I needed to Complete my look . I was advised to order online . Only to find out that I had to pay $13 postage because your buyers underestimated the stock control !!! Can’t say I’m happy about having to pay extra, because the stores don’t have stock

Customer's blazer put on hold was sold or taken, causing inconvenience and poor customer service. requesting gift of blazer.
My wife had a blazer put aside on hold until Sunday on Thursday. We travelled for an hour up to Shellharbour to purchase item on the Friday to be told by the assistant that she can't find it. The assistant rang the other girl who served my wife the previous day( my wife stated that the girl who served her on the Thursday was lovely). the girl said that she put the item in the cupboard with a note saying my wife's name, phone number and hold to Sunday with date. My wife saw her do this. So someone just decided to sell item instead or take it for themselves. Extremely poor customer service. Then the assistant who served us today didn't really seem to care. Definitely will be letting people know about this poor experience. This has cost us time and money for travel. Customer received faulty gift, attempted exchange without receipt, asked to pay $22 difference, left without gift. requesting review.
I recieved a pink scarfs from my daughter for Mother’s Day. I hadn’t even worn it and it stated to come apart on the side. I took it back to exchange it at Sportsgirl in Carlton ( my daughter bought it from Warrnambool) they didn’t have Same colour so I was going to exchange for a different colour . When at the register the girl told me because I didn’t have receipt and the scarfe I had scanned at 12.95 and exchange one was 34.95 I had to pay the difference of $22. This is extremely unfair particularly when it was a gift and why would I have a receipt. The girl admitted it was faulty but I walked away with a 12.95 receipt and no Mother’s Day gift because I refused to pay the difference. This was very disappointing for me and will be for my daughter. I would like this reviewed please.

Customer upset about being overcharged and double charged for a jacket at sportsgirl. wants $54.95 refunded and better customer service.
I purchased a jacket that said $50 and under but came to $54.95.they said it was placed on the wrong rack but all similar jackets were on the rack. Then they charged me twice for the jacket telling me my card had declined but two sales are registered on my spend summary. They could not resolve either issue. They told me to contact my bank. I am out 54.95. I’m frustrated and upset. I need the money returned to my account and I believe they should have given me the jacket for the price on the rack. Atrocious service and they had no idea how to resolve it. Sales person wouldn’t give me a name and took mine but no contact details. They created a problem and said I should fix it

Customer seeks exchange and apology from sportsgirl for purchasing wrong product due to misleading packaging, with no return policy explained.
Granddaughter purchased what she thought was lip mask and actually purchased lip scrub in identical packaging stacked alongside each other. We walked out of the store, realised the error and walked straight back into the store to request an extension change. The purchased product had not been opened, wrapper was still intact and the time lapse between purchase and requesting an exchange was one minute. The no return policy for cosmetics was not pointed out at the time of sale.

Customer had a negative experience at sportsgirl store. staff ignored customers, were rude, and did not provide good customer service.
Hello, I was shopping at Menai marketplace NSW today at 330pm on 30 December 2023. When I went into the store the loverly older lady with a white bow in her hair went for her break and the two young girls stood behind the counter talking amongst themselves and stayed there ignoring all customers. I didn’t care I just kept shopping and took dresses into the dressing room without asking because they didn’t look at me or any other customers in store. I then needed change of sizes in the 3 dresses I picked and tried to get help but they ignored me and kept talking and looked at me and away so I had to go out to the front store rack with the wrong size dress still on and leave all my things and go get the clothes I needed. They were still talking and saw me. I then noticed a stain on one of the dresses but loved it and wanted it anyway. I went to the counter and the girl (name on receipt jasmine) was really rude to me and not pleasant at all. She only ackowledged me because she had to. I asked her about the stain and she needed the other young girls assistance with brown hair. I’ve never met two ruder girls. They didn’t want to serve myself or any of the two customers waiting behind me! The other one signed the receipt AM. Not sure her name. They sniggered do I want a bag and I said no thanks so she put the 3 dresses I ordered which was total $189 with a stained dress on top of the counter and put her head down. I was still standing there thinking she didn’t say thank u or bye so I thought I was waiting for something and she just looked at me. I said ‘oh is that everything’ . She forcely talked to me ‘yep have a good day rudely’. I was left feeling sad I was treated like that for no reason and I helped myself the whole time and still purchased 3 outfits and one with a stain on it at full price I’m not even sure I can get it out Thanks in advance
