Missed appointment notification delay and rude emergency staff at st. vincents causing frustration and long wait times for urgent assistance.
I had an Appointment on the 3rd of June 2024 and I didn't get a letter for my appointment being cancelled until today the 6th of June 2024. I waited on the phone for 1 hour before being notified of the cancellation. Complaint 2 is the emergency staff at St Vincents is a disgrace: The older/heavy built lady was rude and unsympathetic with my issue. I explained I needed urgent assistance dure to very low hemoglobulin levels yet she was rude and snarky towards me. She told me to wait my turn; so I waited. After 2 hours I asked her how long to wait she said another 1 hour then after 4 hours of being ignored I left because I was so frustrated. No wonder the patients get angry with your quality of care and security need to get called in regularly. UR 728441
