Complaint about Coles Mobile's refusal to assign prepaid recharge to customer's son and provide a refund
I purchased a prepaid mobile rechargeable for an old work phone which I gave to my son, he has had it 2 years, I went to recharge today, wouldn’t work as my son needs to be 14 which he is next Wednesday, I asked them to assign it back to me, which they wouldn’t. I asked for a refund, which they wouldn’t. So I have now cancelled my car insurance and will not be returning to use coles for my other prepaid which is due for expiry.

Customer frustrated with slow SIM activation process and requests immediate generation of a new phone number for their son.
Hi Team,<br /><br />I am typing with regards to the time it has taken to activate my SIM (4623409987944). Your customer service team have been really lovely, however the turnaround time taken to activate my phone number is building to disappointment.<br /><br />I can see the original lay down time was absolutely my fault. I was trying to transfer my sons number (0409691504) from Telstra to the new number. Due to an incorrect date of birth this was proving to be more difficult than what it was worth. On Wednesday I asked to cancel this request and change the option to generate new phone number. It is now Monday (5 days after the 2nd request and over 1 week since purchasing the SIM) and my son is still unable to use his phone. When calling Coles mobile online, the lady indicated that the email was sent to the team for activation however must have been over looked due to having a resolved heading on the email.<br /><br />Can i please ensure my phone number gets generated today so that my son is able to use his new number. I feel it is unfair that i have to wait another day or 2 for this to be viewed and activated.<br /><br />If you have any questions regarding this email please feel free to call myself - 0438879637.<br /><br />Cheers,<br />Kristen Sims
