Customer purchased shoes, returned one, and was only refunded $90 instead of $140. feels betts group kept $50 unfairly.
I purchased two pairs of shoes using two different credit cards total sale of $279.00 . $140.00 was paid on each. When I went to return one pair, or even ask for a store credit or an exchange I was informed that because it was on the sale of buy one pair at the full price and get the other pair half price I could not get the $140.00 refund or credit and that I could only receive $90.00 although I had my receipt which stated that I had paid $140.00. The sales assistant insisted that I could only get a $90.00 refund which means that your store has kept $50 of my money. I am a pensioner and that money means a lot to me and never mind what sale was on at the time I paid $140.00 twice totalling the full amount stated. I think it’s wrong, I think it’s stealing and I am entitled to a refund of what was on my credit card receipt. I have taken the $90 and have told the assistant that I will be contacting Betts regarding this matter. I purchased the shoes at Karrinyup Betts and returned one pair to Joondalup. The assistant seemed to be confused about how to do the transaction although I said to her that you can clearly see that I paid $140.00 but she said no I will only refund you $90. I have never heard of anyone being able to keep money from your refund and give you less back and even considering the sale is still on. It’s very unheard of and just isn’t honest. It has come to my attention that this individual has been involved in a series of inappropriate activities on TikTok, which include privacy violations and other concerning behaviors that do not align with the professional standards expected from a representative of Betts.<br /><br />Specifically, the manager has been participating in TikTok dramas, showing minors in their live videos without consent, and engaging in activities that violate community guidelines on the platform. These actions are not only unprofessional but also pose significant privacy risks and set a poor example for both the community and other Betts employees.<br /><br />As a customer, I find this behavior unacceptable and believe it reflects poorly on Betts as a reputable company. The role of a manager is to uphold the values and integrity of the organization, and such conduct severely undermines this responsibility.<br /><br />I urge you to take immediate action to address this issue. The manager in question needs to cease their involvement in such activities and be reminded of the professional standards they are expected to maintain.
