Customer seeks $55.00 and an apology for bracelet falling off wrist twice, purchased from warringah mall store.
I purchased a men’s bracelet around the 9th August 2023 by Afterpay from your Warringah Mall store. The bracelet was purchased for $219.00 on sale. However the bracelet has now fallen off my wrist twice. Lucky for me it was at home. I went back to the store and was told it would cost $55.00 to get the bracelet soldered as it was not purchased soldered and there was no guarantee they could because of where it came undone. It did not break it came undone at the joint. The sales assistant tightened it for me and off i went. As far as I’m concerned this is a fault of the bracelet and not the buyer Im now no longer confident wearing the bracelet for fear that it will again fall off my wrist and next time I wont notice. Customer unhappy with angus & coote's refusal to repair rose gold snake ring with missing diamonds, poor customer service from manager mehal.
My partner bought me a rose gold snake ring in February 2024 for valentines day. I wore it maximum 3 times. I noticed 3 diamonds missing, returning it to the burwood store, the girls said it's wear and tear??? I'm an injured person and couldn't possibly have wacked it with my left hand. I explained this to the girl. When I handed the ring to her she dropped it. Then a few days ago a lady by the name of Mehal, claiming to be the manager said that her professional repair man says there's nothing they can do as its wear and tear. I said hoe is that possible as I've only worn it a couple times and it's not even 3 months old. She said she didn't like my tone and I have 2 choices, one pick up ring as is. Two out of goodwill she'll send it to her supplier and its upto them if they want to exchange it or not. I said how is that even a choice, she hung up the phone on me. I continued to call, she wouldn't answer and kept hanging up. When she finally answered I asked for the manager, she said she was I then asked her for the names of the 2 girls that I returned it to and the girl dropped it on the ground, she said I don't know them, I said look at the reciept or cameras, she said why don't you look at your reciept. I said you're incredibly rude and that's disgusting customer service. She proceeded to tell me she didn't like my tone again and hung up on me again!!!

Customer seeking resolution for discolored wedding band from angus & coote, unhappy with lack of response and advice to take ring off.
I have emailed angus and coote rockingham with my grievance and no response I complained in store was told to take my ring off. I bought a wedding band for my wedding sept 2023 within 2 weeks the white gold ring was gold i took it back under care plan had it re coated with in 2 weeks back to yellow gold. Staff told me to take it of at night I wear engagement ring another white gold ring necklace earings never had a problem. I cant wear my wedding band next to engament ring it looks horrid.

Customer purchased earrings and cleaning tool, but box was empty. staff implied fault on customer. seeking $203 and apology.
I bought earrings and a cleaning tool this morning from the Canberra Centre store. When I arrived home I opened the box to find it empty. I rang the store and it was inferred that I had the earrings and that there was no mistake on their part. They said that the earrings were shown to me at the counter. I agreed with this but the final placing of the box into the Angus and Coote bag was done away from the counter. The shop assistant also forgot to include the cleaning tool she had suggested I buy and her colleague had to chase me to come back to get it as I had left the shop. So I now have no earrings, a cleaning tool that I don’t need and I’m out of pocket $203. I am upset by what has happened, at the time it has taken out of my day, and your staff inferring that somehow it was my fault that I ended up with an empty box that should have contained earrings.

Customer seeks replacement ring or exchange due to discoloration issues, after multiple attempts to resolve the problem with the store.
I purchased a signet ring,custom made in gold for my granddaughter in August 2023. I paid approx $200-$300 for this ring. Unfortunately my granddaughter can’t wear the ring as it discoloured black 3rd time now. This started happening straight away after her first time wearing the ring. I took it back to the store and they said it just needs to be cleaned and that maybe her skin reacts to gold. I know this is not the case as I also purchased her a necklace the same month for her birthday that I paid $1000 for and it’s perfectly fine on her skin. I then took it back to the Shellharbour store again and spoke to the store manager who agreed it’s discoloured black and sent it away for a work order. This took many many weeks and after I had to follow up where the ring was I managed to get it back. It looked shiny but no difference with the quality of the gold or the lack of gold I should say. That after her first wear the ring has completely tarnished black now and just looks like junk. Very disappointing as I really wanted this ring to be a memorable moment for my granddaughter receiving her first signature ring with two hearts and a red stone. I can send you photos or go into a store but absolutely believe it needed to be escalated as I’m now looking for a resolution. I would like the ring replaced firstly as an option as the ring I purchased has not served its purpose. Or if the quality of these rings is at this low level if she could exchange for something else? Customer ordered a ring for their wedding band but it was lost/ordered incorrectly. store manager provided a temporary ring. customer wants free rhodium plating and servicing for their engagement ring.
I ordered a ring (for my wedding band) on 22nd of November 2023 & paid for it this same day. I called the store many many times to follow up to see when my ring would be in (was told 4-6 weeks) and after calling multiple times (being told “no it’s not here in store yet”, by many different people), I was told my order had been lost/ordered incorrectly. Cindy the store manager arranged a temporarily ring for me to use for my wedding, however this doesn’t hold the same sentimental value as it would if I was to use my actual wedding ring. I explained my disappointment and frustration but also appreciated Cindy for finding a temporary ring. All I am asking from Angus & Coote for this very big mistake is to offer for my engagement ring to be rhodium plated & serviced in time for my wedding, for free. I did ask Cindy this and she is going to ask the Area Manager, however the more I think about the whole situation I am very disappointed I won’t be having my actual wedding ring on my special day. This is a very huge mistake on their behalf and not very good customer service at all.

Customer purchased a bracelet for $1199 but noticed it was on sale for $899 within 13 days. requesting $300 credit or refund.
Good morning (Request from Iolanta Clarke - iolanta.clarke@health.wa.gov.au) I am from WA and I was on holiday's in Surfers Paradise in Queensland and purchased a Bracelet 9CT 19.5 SLD OVL Belcher Bolt 2155059 for $1199.00 on the 16 January 2024 at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Broadbeach. I purchased the Bracelet as a present for my daughters Graduation which is on this Saturday the 3 February. I have a receipt for the Bracelet, and it hasn't been worn and still in the box and bag as the Graduation isn't until this Saturday. Yesterday 30 January, I went to my local shopping centre in the Galleria in Morley WA and noticed that the Bracelet was on sale for only $899. Apparently, it went on sale on the 29 January. I was a bit disappointed that I had purchased it only 13 days from the date of the sale and it had been reduced a further $300. The ladies in the store at Morley said that there was nothing that they could do for me, but if I had known that it was going on sale within 13 days of purchase, I wouldn't have bought it at that price. Is there anything that you can do for me, even if it means that I get a credit from you for the $300 so that my daughter can spend it at your store. Or can I go to one of your stores and get a credit refund and then purchase it again at the price of $899? I would really appreciate if you could look into this matter and respond to my request asap. Customer complains about being treated disrespectfully and unprofessionally by a salesperson at the rockhampton store.
I had just finished work and finally went to buy my partner two pieces of jewellery worth almost $5500.00 to treat her for valentines day, and because I was in my work uniform, the sales person her name was Skye from the Rockhampton stocklands store, just dismissed me and kept making comments saying if I can not afford this, we have cheaper options and would continue to talk down to me, I work hard for my money, and because of this your company lost the sale to Michael Hill, something needs to be done with this employee, so disrespectful and unprofessional.

Hi I don’t like making complaints but this has definitely hurt my feelings, I was at our Tamworth store last Saturday with my husband looking for my 40th present which was going to be a diamond ring, we felt invisible both ladies the very old lady that’s been there 100 years and another lady were gossiping behind the counter I’d seen a ring I wished to purchase but it’s my 3rd time of poor service & every time the scary old lady has been there she her needs more training on how to a great sales lady or move on as our son was in a few weeks ago also to purchase an engagement ring & the lady had told him are you old enough to be getting married he replied what’s it any of your business now that’s not my son at all he’s polite & courteous, I did say she may have been having a bad day but I too have experienced her poor service, in the end we went to the other jewellery store in the centre & they were so uplifting & amazing the service was on point and we even got asked would we like to take a seat & the manager will make us a coffee or a hot chocolate and snacks , how’s that for service take a leaf out of your opponent they are killing it & you can see they have a caring atmosphere from the manager to the entire team!!
